Company Profile

Castech Data Services Inc. is a Canadian company that provides offshore outsourcing services in data processing and other types of business process outsourcing services. Our main services include data entry, medical transcription, data conversion, litigation support; and analysis and abstraction of key information. Our company also provides offshore programming; and audio and video animation production. We also maintain a call center facility and our specialty is technical support, customer service and pay for performance jobs. 

CDSI’s sales and marketing office is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada, about 15 miles north of Toronto. Our offshore site is located in Manila, Philippines where we maintain fourteen different work sites all interconnected with the main office as its central communication headquarters. 

Our offshore site in Manila has been existing since 1985. At present we have about 4,500 personnel ranging from data entry specialists to administrative and support personnel. We also have about 100 developers and IT personnel whose main task is to customized solutions to our projects. We utilize the most advance software for all our projects. We have our in-house software development group and R&D staff to provide for process enhancements and system development. Our standard procedure is to work with our clients to develop the most cost efficient and quality assured method of processing their data.  

With regards to our infrastructure, our communication facility is equipped with 1 STM and 3 DS3 carriers which is equivalent to 132 E1 lines from four (4) major carriers in the Philippines to ensure fail-safe and redundant connections. This bandwidth capacity is equivalent 177,000 hours of audio and approximately 42 million images downloadable per day. Each site is fully triangulated in terms of connection for fail safe and redundant connectivity of all sites to our clients. We have strong relationships with upstream providers that enable us to activate bandwidth in a short time frame. Our campus backbone is a 20 mbps intranet while our LAN is at 10/100 gigabit. All our work facilities are designed to secure data confidentiality and are equipped with security access procedures. Data security is always assured. 

Security of our client’s data and our processing facilities are of the highest priority in our organization. We process highly confidential data from both government and private enterprise and are regularly audited by some clients.
